My name is Carla and I usually wake up late on Saturdays, but today is different. It’s 8:00 in the morning and I am already in the kitchen. My mother is making pancakes and my father is reading the newspaper. My little brother is playing with his toys on the floor.
After breakfast, we are going to the shopping mall. I want to buy a new pair of shoes, and my brother wants a video game. My parents need to buy some food for the week. The mall is always busy on Saturdays, but I like it because there are many shops and a big bookstore.
In the afternoon, I am going to meet my best friend, Sofia. We usually go to a café near her house. Today we are drinking hot chocolate and talking about school. Sofia is very funny, and she always makes me laugh.
In the evening, my family and I are going to watch a movie at home. We have popcorn, we sit on the sofa, and we enjoy the film together. Saturdays are always busy, but they are also my favorite days.
